TRASSIR NeuroStation Video analytics based on neural networks

TRASSIR NeuroStation is a brand new network video recorder for IP-cameras running TRASSIR OS (Linux). The new video server is capable of performing sophisticated video analytics based on neural networks. It comes with two powerful video analytics detectors: TRASSIR Human Detector allowing to connect up to 40 channels (included) and TRASSIR Queue Detector (sold separately).
TRASSIR NeuroStation allows to use all the advantages of modern neural network technologies for video analytics.
Intelligent video analytics module Human Detector is one of the main features in our new NVR. It is based on neural networks and intended mainly for security purposes.
TRASSIR Human Detector detects people on video with very high accuracy. The detector generates an alarm and sends out an alert whenever an unauthorized person enters the secured area. Notification of this alarm event is sent to the security officer or operator.
Using video analytics based on neural networks allows you to effectively solve another issue: reducing the number of false positives for unauthorized events. Due to this fact the number of false alarms that the operator receives from the system is significantly less. Besides that he doesn’t need to be constantly distracted by false signals. Such approach can significantly increase the productivity and efficiency of the video surveillance system. Since the attention of the operator would not be dissipated and hence he can focus only on the events that really deserve human attention.
The updated version of TRASSIR Queue Detector will become a very useful solution for use in retail. This intelligent video analytics uses all the advantages provided by modern neural networks technologies.
It determines the queue length in front of the cash desk in a particular area with the highest accuracy. Detector promptly informs the point of sale administrators in case of exceeding the specified maximum number of people in the queue using e-mail or push-notifications.
Offload-analytics support (receiving and processing video images transmitted from other TRASSIR servers) is another significant advantage of TRASSIR NeuroStation. Now it is possible to connect any TRASSIR NVR that do not have neuroanalytics features (for example, miniNVRs) to TRASSIR NeuroStation. All video data from usual NVRs will be transmitted for processing to the TRASSIR NeuroStation server.
It will significantly reduce the cost for improving the existing video surveillance systems that lack neuro analytics functionality. There is no need to replace the existing fleet of NVRs. All you have to do to get all the advanced features that video analytics based on neural networks can provide is simply connect your video surveillance equipment to the TRASSIR NeuroStation. That all it takes!
The capabilities of video analytics will be expanded since the new detectors for human, cars and bicycles will be added in the nearest future. Then the features of the neuro analytics already available on the TRASSIR NeuroStation will be further enhanced with the ability to trace the motion paths of both people and vehicles.
