Sivas Öğretmenevleri is one of the most visited facilities in Turkiye offering high-quality accommodation and services primarily for education professionals, as well as other guests. Opened in 1992, the facility spans more than 4,200 square meters and includes a five-story hotel building, a two-story service area, multi-purpose event halls, meeting rooms, a restaurant, recreational spaces, and parking facilities.

Designed as a modern and stylish venue, Sivas Öğretmenevleri provides a comfortable environment where guests can both relax and work. Holding internationally recognized certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001, the institution places strong emphasis on safety, operational reliability, and high service standards.

Project background

The facility already operated a CCTV system, but its capabilities were limited to basic monitoring and recording. Due to the size and layout of the site, complete visual control of all areas was difficult to achieve, leaving blind spots that relied heavily on human attention. This made consistent monitoring challenging and increased the risk of delayed responses to security incidents.

Management sought to modernize the surveillance system by introducing intelligent residential security video analytics while preserving existing apartment complex security cameras. The goal was to strengthen security coverage, improve responsiveness with real-time CCTV alerts, and reduce dependence on continuous manual monitoring — all without major infrastructure replacement.

Solution

The project was implemented jointly with TRASSIR’s partner KARE Bilgisayar Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and their sub-integrator Karan Bilişim Güvenlik Kontrol Sistemleri Tic. Ltd. Şti.

TRASSIR delivered a flexible solution to upgrade existing CCTV with video analytics based on its open-platform architecture, enabling centralized management.

The solution included:

- TRASSIR VMS for unified video management
- TRASSIR NeuroStation 8800R/64 as the central server
- TRASSIR AnyIP INT licenses for third-party camera integration
- TRASSIR Neuro Detector for intelligent perimeter and area monitoring

Neuro Detector continuously analyzes video streams and generates real-time alerts when defined rules are violated. Operators can flexibly configure detection zones and scenarios, ensuring timely notifications even in areas where human oversight is difficult to maintain.

Results and impact

Following the upgrade, Sivas Öğretmenevleri gained a more intelligent, reliable, and proactive security system. Continuous, analytics-based surveillance significantly reduced blind spots and ensured faster responses to potential incidents, while centralized monitoring with VMS improved overall operational control.

The facility now benefits from:
