The Central Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan acts as a state banker, it stores and manages foreign exchange reserves, licences, supervises and regulates the activities of other banks and non-bank financial organizations

Project objectives
Equipping the bank's offices located across the country with a reliable centralised video surveillance system with high fault tolerance and a deep archive for data storage compatible with software and equipment from third-party manufacturers, easily scalable with the possibility of gradual expansion. Providing monitoring of technological processes to improve the quality of service, control of labour discipline and occupational safety.

Surveillance in the field
•  Ensuring the safety of the bank's and visitors' property, including ATMs;
•  Monitoring of places of receipt, disbursement, counting and storage of money to identify threats and prompt responding;
•  Collecting and storing video evidence for analysis in emergency cases;
•  Quality control of service, labour discipline, occupational safety.

Project solution
TRASSIR has implemented its video surveillance system that integrates video surveillance in distributed Bank offices. The system is centralised, trouble-free, fault-tolerant, easy to operate and maintain, with a user-friendly interface and software seamlessly integrated with customer equipment, with options for scaling and gradual capacity increase.
An archive for long-term storage of information was secured. We used:
•  700 IP cameras by various vendors;
•  6 units of UltraStation 16/10 SE TRASSIR IP recorder.

Project results
Centralised video surveillance system by TRASSIR with high fault tolerance and a 127.33TB archive for storing data has effectively targeted all the objectives set for video surveillance. The head of the Security Service is confident that the video surveillance system is failure-free, and all data are stored in an extremely secure place. UltraStation 16/10 TRASSIR IP recorder supporting RAID 5 disk array technology and HotSwap has become a guarantee for that confidence of complete security. Monitoring staff for assessing compliance with service quality standards became possible. The customer is satisfied and plans to equip all new offices with video surveillance systems by TRASSIR.
