In the manufacturing sector, such as agriculture, meat processing and many others, optimizing production processes and motivating employees are crucial for maintaining competitiveness and profitability. TRASSIR has implemented an innovative solution for one of leading agro-industrial groups, which operates a closed-loop production cycle fr om field to shelf. This project aims to improve production efficiency and employee motivation with smart video analytics.

The primary business objective of this project was to improve the production process's efficiency by implementing a system that monitors results and motivates employees. This initiative addresses the need for a modern solution that can recognize and count repetitive operations during shifts, identify employees and objectively evaluate their performance to implement a reward system.

At one of the agro-holding's enterprises, a specific scenario unfolded. In the meat processing plant, a conveyor line was set up where employees performed repetitive tasks such as packaging, trimming, and transferring products. Before the project's implementation, there was no assessment of productivity or labor output, and wages were uniformly distributed regardless of performance and results.

To tackle this challenge, specialized systems were developed to recognize and count each of the six types of operations. The processing of all incoming information is conducted on powerful video surveillance servers. TRASSIR's smart video analytics can identify employees using QR codes specifically placed on their headgear.

Given that all six operations occur in different zones, each zone is equipped with a surveillance camera that reads specific operations. A separate neural network is trained for each zone, enhancing the analysis of incoming video streams from the cameras and efficiently processing the data.

By the end of each shift, the system generates a report detailing the number of each type of operation performed by each employee during the specified period. This enables the implementation of a KPI system that motivates workers to increase their productivity.

TRASSIR's smart video analytics makes production more efficient and helps motivate employees.
