Ramco Cement Plant is one of India’s largest cement manufacturers, operating multiple plants across several states. The company sought a centralized, intelligent security solution to protect its vast campus areas, warehouses, and critical infrastructure while optimizing operational efficiency. With existing cameras already deployed, the client wanted a solution that could leverage these devices, minimize additional hardware costs, and provide advanced analytics for proactive monitoring.

Project background

Security management across multiple plants was challenging due to fragmented systems. Large-scale campus areas were vulnerable to unauthorized entry, perimeter breaches, and fire or smoke hazards. Manual monitoring was time-consuming and prone to delays, while rapid response was crucial to prevent potential incidents or operational disruptions. Ramco Cement Plant required a solution that would unify surveillance across all facilities, provide real-time alerts, and enable intelligent analytics to improve security, streamline operations, and prepare for future AI-enabled tools.

Project solution

TRASSIR deployed a centralized surveillance system integrating existing cameras with newly installed high-resolution 8MP cameras for key perimeter and warehouse areas. NeuroStation servers formed the backbone of the system, while TRASSIR VMS provided centralized monitoring and management across all plants. Advanced AI-powered modules were configured for:
