Electrosteel, a leading manufacturer in India’s steel and infrastructure sector, operates large-scale production facilities that run around the clock. Located in a high-risk industrial zone, these sites require continuous perimeter protection to safeguard people, equipment, and critical operations. Unauthorised access—whether fr om intruders or stray animals—posed persistent security and safety risks, making a robust and proactive surveillance system essential.

Project background

The company’s vast perimeter made traditional CCTV insufficient. The previous setup offered only reactive monitoring and demanded constant attention from on-site guards. Without intelligent alerts, potential breaches were often detected late, raising the chance of operational disruptions and driving up manpower costs. Electrosteel sought an AI-driven system that could automatically detect intrusions, distinguish between humans and animals, and integrate seamlessly with its existing surveillance network.

Project solution

In partnership with system integrator 3TS Technology, Electrosteel deployed a TRASSIR AI-powered perimeter protection solution tailored to the demands of heavy industry. The implementation included:

• TRASSIR NeuroStation 8200R/32 as the central video management server, ensuring stable, high-capacity recording and analytics.

• TRASSIR Neuro Detector to deliver real-time AI-based video analytics and intelligent intrusion detection.

• Custom AI algorithms trained to differentiate between human movement and stray animals, reducing false alarms and ensuring only relevant alerts reach the security team.

• Full integration with the existing camera infrastructure, providing a smooth upgrade without costly hardware replacement.

Installation, configuration, and testing were carried out jointly by 3TS Technology and TRASSIR engineers, ensuring reliable operation from day one.

The Electrosteel site now benefits from a fully automated, proactive security system that delivers:
