Karaburun Dişli Villaları is a luxury residential development in Arnavutkoy, Istanbul, Turkiye. Surrounded by nature and located within walking distance of the shoreline, the complex features premium duplex and triplex villas and offers a comfortable coastal living experience for families and private homeowners. With increasing occupancy and long-term residency, site management began focusing on improving reliability, safety, and technological efficiency.

Project background

Before working with TRASSIR, the property operated a basic surveillance system. While functional, the existing VMS platform struggled with instability — freezes, delays in playback, and inconsistent performance. These issues became increasingly noticeable as the community expanded and expectations for security grew.

The management team wasn’t looking to replace the entire system; instead, they wanted a modern, scalable solution that could keep existing cameras in place while offering a pathway to future AI-driven functionality. Cost efficiency, long-term reliability, and ease of operation were key requirements.

Solution implementation

The project was carried out in collaboration with TRASSIR’s partner, ZNA Teknoloji, ensuring a smooth upgrade process and professional deployment.

The TRASSIR team proposed an upgrade built around TRASSIR NeuroStation and AnyIP licensing, which allowed seamless integration of all existing cameras regardless of brand or technical limitations. The new TRASSIR VMS replaced the previous platform and immediately improved stability and performance, creating a reliable foundation for everyday monitoring.

Thus, a complete upgrade included:

• TRASSIR NeuroStation (32-channel NVR)

• TRASSIR AnyIP INT licenses for camera integration

• Migration to TRASSIR VMS for unified centralized management

Another benefit was future scalability. After the upgrade, the client learned they could activate advanced TRASSIR modules —such as license plate recognition, face recognition, and workplace activity detection—without replacing hardware. This flexibility gave the management confidence that the solution could evolve with the property’s long-term security strategy.

Results and impact

With TRASSIR fully integrated, the monitoring experience dramatically improved. Operators now work with a fast, stable system that provides smooth playback, responsive controls, and reliable live monitoring. The community’s existing investment in hardware was preserved, significantly reducing modernization costs. Most importantly, the site is now equipped with an intelligent and expandable surveillance infrastructure, supporting both current needs and future upgrades.
