TRASSIR ACS Enterprise: unified access control system for distributed facilities

TRASSIR ACS Enterprise is a unified access control and time tracking for companies with branches or separate distributed facilities.

This system allows you to combine ACS servers installed in separate departments into a single system and simplify the administration of ACS and remote-control systems without building a private virtual network using TRASSIR Cloud Connect.

What kind of companies would benefit from using TRASSIR ACS Enterprise?

• With a large number of distributed facilities, branches and divisions;

• With a lot of personnel who moves between departments;

• Companies which maintain consolidated time records for all units or need to accurately track the working hours of staff moving between sites.

There are numerous advantages of using this system for your business:

• Assigning different access levels to a person allows them to move between separate branches (no need to duplicate settings on each separate server);

• Functions for inheriting parameters in groups, mass assignments and transfer of persons allow you to conveniently work with a large number of employees;

• Allows you to combine servers with different connectivity capabilities;

• Allows you to generate reports in a centralized way, taking into account employee movement between departments and by number of employees at sites;

• Connecting a stand-alone server to the unified TRASSIR ACS Enterprise solution does not limit the operation of the local TRASSIR ACS in any way;

• All functions (person administration, access control, permit office, reporting, etc.) continue to operate independently and autonomously.

TRASSIR ACS Enterprise is deployed in the data center, preferably on a virtual machine to ensure full fault tolerance. This software is connected to local TRASSIR ACS servers, which in turn work with control devices (access terminals, controllers) and executive devices.

TRASSIR ACS Enterprise's interface is similar to the TRASSIR ACS interface installed locally on sites. The main difference is the presence of the "Servers" tab, where you can add servers, see their status, date of the last synchronization, and the displayed name, if, for example, you want the name of the object to be displayed instead of the conditional MiniNVR.

Access levels are created for each server, everything is centralized. Operators can connect to the central server through the web interface, or through the client. This is where access levels are created, access points are defined, and schedules are assigned.

Work schedules are needed to generate timekeeping reports. You can define the employee's work schedule, any kind of exception days, deviations, shifts (5/2, classic) and much more.

There is also a special “Personnel" tab where you can set the access level and identifiers: card, license plate number, pin code, face. Once the access level is assigned, the personas are “distributed" to the required servers and "settled" there.

In TRASSIR ACS it is possible to assign parameters in bulk, which allows you to change parameters for a group of employees or for employees from different groups, as well as to perform personnel transfer, i.e. moving employees by groups.

Another feature is group administration. You can assign access rights to groups immediately and when you create an employee in a group or move an employee to a new group, the employee will automatically inherit these rights. Inheritance can be hard (default) - all employees who are in the group automatically inherit the parameter. Inheritance can also be made soft, i.e. allow parameters to be changed by persons. For example, add another access level to a person or change the work schedule or work zone for a specific employee in a group.

The "Number of employees in zones" report in TRASSIR ACS Enterprise also includes grouping by companies. This report is constructed as a heat map by time interval. The report displays how many people from which company were on-site throughout the working day. Thanks to this report it is possible to track the dynamics of attendance. For example, in the morning there were 100 people on-site, then by lunchtime or an hour later 50 people had checked in, and by the evening there were 100 again. This is mostly needed for working with contractors.

As you can see, TRASSIR ACS Enterprise software can help you simplify the administration of ACS and remote-control systems, increase fault tolerance and help you generate reports, including timekeeping with accounting of movement between facilities/branches.
