About the project

Kent Meydanı Mall is located in the most famous square of Bursa, one of the most valued cities in Turkey. The project, which is located in the center of the city, was made possible by the partnership of Küçükçalık İnşaat A.Ş., Sönmez Turizm Emlak A.Ş. and Özipek İnşaat A.Ş. and has a total leasable area of 29,800 m2. It is designed within the European standards and is launched as an award-winning architectural project. The mall includes 104 different brands and has around 1,100,000 visitors per month. TRASSIR has implemented this project together with our partner, LION TECHNOLOGY DIŞ TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ.

Video surveillance in the field

The main objective of the project was to implement smart solutions based on neuroanalytics.

Project objectives

• Providing better security for mall visitors using various video analytics modules;

• Ensuring and upgrading fire safety within the building by installing TRASSIR Fire & Smoke detector;

• Reducing the duties of the security service covering the whole perimeter;

• Collecting information on the number of shoppers and obtaining statistics on the mall's attendance;

• Creating a deep archive and providing quick access to it, storing the evidence base for the investigation of controversial situations

Project results

Naturally, one of the main advantages of TRASSIR was that it allowed the customer to use any brand of cameras, thus reducing the cost of implementing video analytics solutions.

TRASSIR comprehensive solution has improved the existing security system:

• Helped reduce security payroll;

• Upgraded fire security in the building and on the whole perimeter;

• Minimized financial losses caused by theft;

• Eased navigation through databases of all sizes to find necessary video data with TRASSIR ActiveSearch+;

• Serves as an effective tool for marketing analysis.

At the moment, this is only the first stage of the project. In the near future, it is planned to launch video analytics modules at Kent Meydani AVM and add checkpoint access control and vehicle license plate recognition to automate the entry of vehicles into the area.
