What kind of security system do warehouses need?
In the era of online trade, it is difficult to overestimate the role of warehouses in business processes. The speed with which it is necessary to process incoming orders, distribute flows, track deliveries, and further dispatch is remarkably fast. In addition to this, warehouses are high-risk areas due to the load-handling equipment used. Speed, multiple operations, risks, and different types of products, including toxic ones - it is simply impossible to perform most of the operations manually. This is why the warehouse needs security system with an integrated control panel.
To ensure safe and uninterrupted access to the warehouse, AutoTRASSIR module for license plate recognition is implemented. It is connected to the barrier system and has access to black and white license plate lists. The system controls the flow of transport in the warehouse. Since the ecosystem can also be connected to the warehouse accounting system, it allows you to control the amount of incoming and outgoing goods, helping to avoid errors and deliberate theft. As for staff, the system controls a wide range of input data – from wearing uniforms to observing safety requirements while on the territory.
The TRASSIR security system serves security and responds to emergencies much faster than conventional systems. The site perimeter, loading and offloading areas, cargo pick-up and storage areas are controlled by cameras and the Active Stock module controlled by TRASSIR Server. When investigating incidents, security staff will save time and learn the details of the incident much faster, allowing them to take appropriate measures as soon as possible. The data obtained can also be used to optimize warehouse processes, prevent incidents, work with employees and cut unnecessary costs.
