What types of ID's can be used by TRASSIR ACS?
For a modern person individual identification is not something special or unusual; people know that most often this procedure serves their own convenience, safety and health. Therefore, the question “to identify or not identify” does not arise. Technical subtleties remain - which method of identification and confirmation of identity to use in an age when paper documents have already lost their relevance, and traditional access cards are about to lose it too.
TRASSIR ACS module is a proprietary access control and management system based on the TRASSIR platform and is a part of the eponymous system. TRASSIR invites clients to decide which set of techniques will be optimal, and what is more familiar and convenient for them. TRASSIR ACS system can use identification through biometrical data, PIN-codes, QR-codes, licenses plates or access by traditional contactless cards. Each method has its own characteristics, and the customer can include a certain combination in the identification scheme.
“Recognition” is needed not only to make sure that it is the authorized employee entering the territory. The identification system TRASSIR ACS is also linked to the employee’s profile. When creating an employee profile in TRASSIR ACS, the characteristics selected by the company are taken into account: personal photo or any other biometric data, organization, position, contacts, etc.; persons in TRASSIR ACS can also be grouped according to different principles in order to work the system easier. The customer can enter data not only of the regular employees, but also of temporary employees involved in the project, add personal characteristics and photos. In addition to granting temporary access, temporary blocking is also available.
Identification is used in TRACCIR ACS not only for access control but also for time-attendance. And the cutting-edge identification methods applied in TRACCIR ACS, such as biometric data recognition, dynamic QR codes, BLE and NFC identification do not allow to cheat the time attendance system.
