Client profile
The client is one of the prominent Hindu temples in New Delhi, India, serving as a major place of worship, pilgrimage, and cultural activity. The temple welcomes thousands of devotees and visitors throughout the year, with attendance increasing significantly during religious festivals and special events.
Operating a large and constantly active site requires balancing visitor safety, efficient crowd management, and protection of sensitive areas, while ensuring a welcoming environment for worshippers and staff.
Project background
The temple already operated a conventional CCTV infrastructure, but required a more intelligent security solution capable of addressing operational challenges beyond basic video monitoring and recording.
Key priorities included preventing unauthorized access to restricted areas, accurately measuring visitor numbers during daily operations and major religious events, improving vehicle monitoring, and strengthening overall site security. The client also wanted better visibility into staff and volunteer movements while leveraging its existing surveillance infrastructure.
The project aimed to introduce AI-powered video analytics that would enhance security, improve operational awareness, and support more efficient management of a large public venue.
Solution
TRASSIR deployed an intelligent video analytics platform integrated with the site's existing Hikvision CCTV infrastructure, allowing the client to enhance security without replacing its current surveillance system.
The solution included:

• TRASSIR Neuro Counter
The platform combines multiple AI analytics modules to support both security and operational management. Face Recognition assists with identifying known offenders and improving staff monitoring, while Neuro Counter provides accurate visitor counting and analytics across key entry points. AutoTRASSIR Parking automates vehicle monitoring, improving visibility over parking areas and traffic flow.
To further strengthen security, scheduled alerts were configured using custom Alarm Monitor Python scripts, enabling automated notifications based on operational schedules. The solution was remotely commissioned, tested, and configured with support from TRASSIR technical specialists, while installation was carried out by Sentinel Security.
Results and impact
Following implementation, the temple significantly improved both security operations and visitor management. Security personnel now receive real-time alerts when unauthorized access occurs, enabling faster response and reducing incidents in restricted areas. Visitor counting provides accurate attendance data for daily operations and major religious events, while vehicle monitoring and staff tracking have improved overall operational visibility.
