The university's video surveillance system includes over 1,000 cameras, making system stability, centralized management, and easy access to video essential for effective security operations.

Project background

Over time, the university's video surveillance system had grown to include cameras from different manufacturers. Managing such a large system created a need for a single video management solution that could bring all existing cameras together without replacing the equipment already installed.

The main goal was to create a stable and centralized surveillance system that would allow security operators to efficiently monitor approximately 1,100 cameras, quickly find the required video, and manage everything through a single interface.

Solution

The university selected TRASSIR VMS as the central video management system for its existing surveillance network. TRASSIR VMS made it possible to connect cameras from different manufacturers within one system, allowing the university to continue using its existing equipment while making the overall system much easier to manage.

For operators working with a large number of cameras, TRASSIR VMS provides convenient tools for viewing live video, working with recorded footage, and quickly finding the cameras they need. A single interface helps simplify daily monitoring and makes it easier for the security team to work with such a large surveillance system.

The solution also gives the university a flexible foundation for future expansion as its security needs grow.
