Project background
Before working with TRASSIR, the campus relied on basic video surveillance with limited automation. While the cameras provided visual coverage, the system lacked proactive alerts and centralized intelligence. Security teams had to rely on manual monitoring, which made it difficult to detect perimeter breaches quickly and respond efficiently — especially across such a large and distributed area.
The client was looking for a scalable, intelligent solution that would provide continuous monitoring, automated perimeter intrusion detection system, and real-time alerts without disrupting daily operations or requiring a complete infrastructure replacement.
Solution
TRASSIR delivered perimeter security solution based on centralized video management system (VMS) and AI video analytics for security. The system integrated smoothly with the client’s existing infrastructure and introduced real-time intrusion detection across the campus perimeter and compound zones.
The solution was configured to generate instant alerts whenever unauthorized access was detected, enabling security teams to respond immediately. Strategic camera placement ensured full coverage of vulnerable areas, while the centralized monitoring platform simplified control, review, and reporting from a single interface.
The solution was also designed to be a scalable security system, allowing the client to add new cameras and analytics modules as the campus continues to grow.
Results
Caterpillar’s campus now benefits from improved visibility, faster response times, and proactive perimeter protection. Unauthorized access risks have been significantly reduced, and security teams operate with greater confidence and efficiency.
