The project involved the installation of camera and analytical systems at all border gates’ crossing points along the 180 km border line under the jurisdiction of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. TRASSIR has implemented this project together with our partner, LION TECHNOLOGY DIŞ TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ.

Project objectives
The main advantage of TRASSIR is that you can use any brand of camera, reducing the cost to the customer of implementing video analytics solutions. TRASSIR also provides its customers with a lifetime license.

 
• Implementing a surveillance system to improve border security and surveillance capabilities;
• Providing security forces with advanced analysis systems at border gates;
• Unifying cameras from different manufacturers used in the area into one system;
• Reducing the duties of security personnel covering the entire area.

Project solution
The main advantage of TRASSIR is that you can use any brand of cameras and thus reduce costs for the client when implementing video analytic solutions. TRASSIR also provides their clients with a life-long license.

•  TRASSIR NeuroStation 8800R/160-A8-S INT (including AnyIP licenses) - 16 pcs;
•  AutoTRASSIR (LPR)- 30 units;
•  Neuro Detection and other analytical licenses - 176 pcs;
•  18 Neuro Counter licenses were used to complete the installation of the AI-based TRASSIR system.


Project results
The TRASSIR software was integrated and monitored from the Image Monitoring Centre via wireless antennas. The project was completed in February 2024. TRASSIR systems were installed at 9 checkpoints at the Greek-Turkish land border gates along the north-south border line of Cyprus: Derinya, Akyar, Beyarmudu, Lokmacı, Ledra Palas, Metehan, Bostancı, Yeşilırmak and Aplıç. This project has significantly improved border security and surveillance capabilities, giving security forces a significant advantage with advanced analytical systems at the border gates.
