What kind of security system is required for shopping malls?

Today the requirements for safety and comfort in shopping centers are extremely high. There are too many technologies that are hard to choose between. What kind of security system is required for shopping malls? TRASSIR offers a single ecosystem that ties together security, comfort of visitors and tenants and marketing.

Main goal of the mall management is to provide high level of comfort to customers even before they are in the mall. Vehicle recognition systems make it easy and pleasant to find parking lot not spending much trouble. The tracking system determines the load level of the shopping center's transport centers at different times and helps to optimize them for avoiding queues and crowds situation.

In stores, complex security systems help to quickly respond to possible dangerous situations - identify potentially dangerous visitors, respond to left objects, investigate incidents of theft and violations in hot pursuit, insure visitors against fraud in the purchase process.

Store managers obtain tools to optimize staff performance, such as identifying peak hours and bringing more staff at certain time to avoid queues.

The Face Recognition module helps tenants by providing data on the flow of customers, their gender and age, appearance. This contributes to effective product and promotional materials. The Heat Maps module provides insight into the flow of customers throughout the day to help plan new store locations and optimize access to specific areas.

Such project was realized at ÖZDİLEK hypermarket — the largest retailer in Turkey. The task was to reduce losses at stores due to thefts and human errors by enabling the visibility via video surveillance system and monitoring the checkout operations. It resulted in decrease of insufficient losses. And the security team obtained instruments for faster reaction to any improper acts or suspicious incidents.
