About the project
Zorlu Center is the first living space in Turkey that offers five functions together as residence, office, hotel, shopping center and culture & art venue. It presents a unique living space in the heart of Istanbul.
With over 200 brands at 74.643 sqm leasable area, Zorlu Center covers the largest green roof in Europe with its 10.000 sqm main square and 12.000 sqm park.
Zorlu Shopping Mall provides its guests with an exclusive shopping experience with its unique mix of brands: Asics, Bvlgari, Balenciaga, Dior, Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Kafkas, Kısmet By Milka, Prada, Rolex, Sevan Bıçakçı, Valentino, Balmain, COS, Pomellato and so many others. Apple also opened its first store at Zorlu Shopping Mall in Turkey, based on its iconic cube store concept in New York.
Located in the heart of Istanbul, it is convenient to access from different locations, and the visitors preferring metro can also reach it easily.
A successful TRASSIR project equipped this sizable area with TRASSIR VMS and other solutions throughout the site. We implemented this project in cooperation with our partner, Karadag Group.

Video surveillance in the field
There were other cameras installed at this extensive area of Zorlu shopping center, and one of the tasks was to replace and improve the existing security system. The reason for this was that it did not meet the customer's needs and it was necessary to integrate cameras from different brands. 

Project objectives
The main task was to control cars entering the center, the security staff also wanted to control the prevention of entry of persons caught stealing from stores inside the mall.

Project solution
The first stage of the project was the launch in the Raffles Hotel and after the clients were convinced of the reliability of the solutions, the system was extended throughout the center. The main advantage is that TRASSIR can be easily integrated into existing video surveillance systems. Despite the fact that other popular brands’ cameras are used inside the Zorlu Center, TRASSIR team easily integrated everything inside with TRASSIR VMS and launched analytics without additional costs for the client to change the infrastructure of video surveillance system.

Project results
The system’s being fine-tuned in line with the customer’s high standards together with the analytics and convenient archiving capabilities. The extensive clients’ requirements in terms of the efficiency and convenience of using the video surveillance system were 100% met. In conclusion, TRASSIR has helped maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone by providing effective surveillance that will help ensure safety there in the future.
