Educational institutions as an important social facility require a careful approach to safety and comfort stay. Distinctive features of educational institutions are a large flow of visitors of a certain age and status, high requirements for security and accessibility, as well as a medical aspect - limiting the stay of people with signs of viral diseases.

The important system for educational institutions today is Access Control for Students and includes control at every stage of human educational activity – from entry and site security to analysis of academic success.

Security must begin even before visitors enter a building.  TRASSIR Neuro Counter detects and counts incoming people and vehicles, AutoTRASSIR checks if vehicles are on the black list. Face Recognition Module helps collecting data on attendance, time spent in the territory, accounting for study and working time.

Several modules serve security purposes in the institution at once - TRASSIR ActiveSearch+ allows quickly search for the desired object, TRASSIR Plans - detailed multi-level maps of premises, TRASSIR Sabotage Detector notifies the operator of any problems with cameras, TRASSIR Fire&Smoke Detector reacts to the occurrence of smoke and the fire on the screen faster than the usual sensors, including open spaces. TRASSIR Neuro Detector is able to detect unauthorized entry of vehicles and people into the territory.

A successful full-fledged TRASSIR project was the equipping of Haliç University in Istanbul. The goal was to provide security for students, faculty and administration throughout the university campus. Installation of TRASSIR VMS system and its integration with the existing system made it possible to link the control system together.
