About the project

Güven Orduevi Kıbrıs is a military facility in Gazimağusa, Cyprus.

TRASSIR has implemented this project together with our partner, LION TECHNOLOGY DIŞ TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ.

Video surveillance in the field

The main objective of the project was to use license plate number recognition solution with high accuracy. It is possible to create license plate number lists and scripts for them. In addition, to perform a quick search by license plate number and control entry into the territory of a military facility.

Project objectives

• Ensuring safety within the building and maintaining the perimeter security;

• Implementing a surveillance system to guarantee the absolute safety of staff and the property;

• Reducing the duties of the security service covering the whole perimeter;

• Providing access control at the checkpoints and license plate recognition system for the vehicles leaving and entering the premises;

• Creating a deep archive that stores the evidence base for the investigation of controversial situations during the working hours and at the nighttime.

Project results

A huge advantage of the AutoTRASSIR 30/1 solution is that it can be used on existing cameras and no advanced features are required for the cameras, which significantly reduces the financial costs for the partner. Moreover, the licensing is lifetime, thus the customer is not faced with hidden paid upgrades after a certain period of time after using the solution.

At the moment, the project is a commercial pilot and after successful operation, TRASSIR solutions will be used throughout the entire territory of this military facility.
