This section describes the following video surveillance functions:
- System health – A description of system health and their possible states.
- Video monitor interface settings – Instructions on how to configure the video monitor interface and save a configuration as a bookmark to quickly switch between prepared templates of the screen.
- Working with the TRASSIR object tree – Instructions on how to use the features of TRASSIR objects for video surveillance.
- Working with a map – Instructions on how to monitor video surveillance maps, use map objects, and switch between maps.
- Working with cameras – A description of buttons which are used to work with cameras, an explanation of camera's context menu; how to work with the camera list.
- PTZ camera control – A description of the primary techniques to control PTZ cameras; a brief description of the menu items that let you position a camera using presets or patrol mode.
- Working with an archive – Instructions on how to search for and view desired video segments in an archive; how to add bookmarks to segments, save screenshots, and export archive segments to file.
- Working with an event log – A description of information display modes, filtering the system's current video surveillance events, and how to search for archived events in the database.
- ActivePOS - A description of a system for monitoring point-of-sale operations in order to detect cashiers' violations and resolve disputes. A description of the ways to view, filter, and highlight cash register events, and search for archived events in the database.
- License plate recognition – Instructions on how to recognition license plate numbers and monitor entering/exiting vehicles, filter the currently recognized license plate numbers, and search for recognized license plate numbers in the database; a description of how to maintain internal lists of license plate numbers.
- Working with heat maps - A description of how to use heat maps to detect motion that took place in the previous 30 seconds.
